Raja is officially a season 3-peat contender on *RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 7* — which, as the drag superstar exclusively tells EW, could mark her final appearance ever on the Main Stage.

"There were several moments I wanted to repeat, just as a reminder of what happened 11 years ago," Raja tells *EW's BINGE* podcast (listen below) of hitting the latest, knitting-themed *AS7* runway clad in a gilded recreation of her Futurama Glamorama (otherwise known as "She3PO") look that first rocked the fandom back in 2011. "This is an elevated version of it, which is how I think life should be lived: You can take concepts from your past and do better versions of it, or do something a little more elevated.... I did want to make some revisits, just as a reminder. I slayed it once before, and I'm going to slay it again."

Raja adds that she and her drag daughter worked on the revamped version by knitting together gold ropes and threads with several large needles — a method that reminds Raja of passing time on New York City subways by knitting, years before she became the season 3 winner. The popular music group Deee-Lite (particularly its leader, Lady Miss Kier) also provided inspiration for the garment, which collides two of Raja's favorite elements as a Gemini: "The past and the future," she says.

RuPaul's Drag Race

Raja recreates her Futurama Glamorama look from season 3 on 'RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 7'. World of Wonder (2)

The hard work paid off: Raja won her second overall challenge on the latest episode of* All Stars 7*, after triumphing in a Scrooge-inspired role in the holiday-themed *Mean Girls* satire/murder mystery acting challenge titled *Santa's School for Girls*. She later beat The Vivienne in a two-woman lip-sync, earning her second Legendary Legend Star of the season.

When asked if she's had recent conversations with fellow *Drag Race* alums Violet Chachki and Gottmik — who took over for her as the hosts of the recap show* Fashion Photo RuView* and subsequently "booted" some of her looks at the start of the season — Raja said that, while she has nothing but love for both queens, she's enjoying being "booked and blessed" in her career. Noting that as much as she's enjoying her reintroduction to the *Drag Race* fandom, this might the last fans see of her on the Emmy-winning show.

"This is the last time I'm ever going to be on *RuPaul's Drag Race *ever in my life, so, I'm just focused on the positive and, no, I haven't had a conversation with [Violet and Gottmik] at all. I've just been surrounding myself with other things. There's so much! They're busy, they're booked and blessed as well, I've been watching them, I follow both of them on Instagram," Raja explains.

When pressed on whether her comments were a declaration or speculation, she clarifies: "Right now at this point I'm saying it's a declaration. It's such a hard thing to do and I live a life of leisure and I hate being inconvenienced," she jokes. "It's so hard to do *Drag Race*. It's stressful, but I can't see myself doing that ever again right now. I'm saying that today. You never know, I might get a call from Randy [Barbato] and Fenton [Bailey] of World and Wonder like, 'We're going to do another one!' You never know, I might change my mind, but today I'd say it's not a possibility."

SPOILER ALERT: This story contains spoilers from the Tuesday, Sept. 30 episode of "Dancing With the Stars."

Following the first elimination of the season — a double elimination, no less — the "Dancing With the Stars" competition continues to heat up. During this week, the partners danced to songs best known for dominating on TikTok. For the social media mavens on the cast, namely "Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" stars Jen Affleck and Whitney Leavitt and massive social media star Alix Earle, it seemed the perfect theme.

It was also the perfect week for Season 31 winner, social media creator Charli d'Amelio, to come back for a few performances — one with the troupe for a routine to Megan Thee Stallion's "Savage" and one with her former partner, Mark Ballas, to "Assumptions" by Sam Gellaitry.

After each routine, Lauren Jauregui and Andy Richter were tied at the bottom of the leaderboard, with Whitney Leavitt and Jordan Chiles tied at the top. Despite a low score, it was still a major shock when Lauren — who has a giant fan base — was eliminated. Inside the ballroom was an audible gasp, with everyone looking around at each other, completely shocked and emotional.

When asked how she was feeling, the Fifth Harmony singer responded, "Pissed." She then turned to partner Brandon Armstrong and added, "I'm so grateful to have had you as a partner."

Google and NBCUniversal inked a short-term extension on their existing carriage deal for YouTube TV, keeping the networks on the service for now as the sides work to hammer out final terms. The announcement came just after their previous pact expired Sept. 30 at midnight ET.

"We've reached a short-term extension to avoid disruption to our service while we work toward a new agreement with NBCUniversal," a Google spokesperson said. "We appreciate our subscribers' patience while we negotiate on their behalf."

NBCUniversal Could Be Headed for YouTube TV Blackout

NBCU last week started warning YouTube TV subs they they might lose access to its networks. Google has claimed that the media company "is asking us to pay more than what they charge consumers for the same content on Peacock, which would mean less flexibility and higher prices for our subscribers." If NBCU programming content is "unavailable for an extended period of time," YouTube TV subscribers will be eligible to receive a $10 credit, Google said in a message on its customer-support site.

At risk of going dark YouTube TV as a result of the dispute have been NBC shows including "Saturday Night Live," "The Voice," "Law & Order," "Chicago Fire," "Today" and "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" as well as NFL and college football and more, plus cable channels like Bravo, MSNBC, CNBC and USA.

Earlier Tuesday evening, YouTube TV dropped Univision and other TelevisaUnivision networks after the sides were unable to come to terms on a contract renewal. The previous YouTube TV carriage agreement with TelevisaUnivision expired Sept. 30 as well. YouTube TV is offering affected subscribers a $6 credit or refund with the TelevisaUnivision blackout.

The affected NBCU channels include those that are set to be spun off into Versant, the new company that will house its cable TV properties (with the exception of Bravo). The channels are: NBC local stations; MSNBC; USA; Bravo; Golf Channel; CNBC; Oxygen True Crime; E!; Cozi; Syfy; American Crimes; NBC News Now; and Telemundo and Universo. Also affected are regional sports networks NBC Sports Philadelphia, NBC Sports Bay Area, NBC Sports Boston and NBC Sports California.

YouTube TV had an estimated 9.5 million customers as of the end of 2024, according to research firm MoffettNathanson — making it the biggest internet-delivered pay TV provider in the U.S.

Google has been embroiled in YouTube TV distribution deal disputes with other big programmers this year. After contentious deal talks, YouTube TV and Paramount Global (now Paramount Skydance) renewed their agreement to carry CBS stations nationwide and more than 20 other channels in February. And Fox Corp. and YouTube TV reached a renewal in August 2025 after a public back-and-forth.

And four years ago, Google and NBCU had tangled over YouTube TV: In 2021, NBCU's distribution deal for YouTube TV expired but the companies quickly worked out a long-term pact.

Justin Connolly, former head of distribution at Disney, joined YouTube as VP, global head of media this spring. Disney sued YouTube and Connolly, alleging breach of contract and seeking to block his employment at Google, but a California state court rejected Disney's request. According to Disney's lawsuit, the media company's contract for YouTube TV is up for renewal soon.

Eric Dane traveled to Washington, D.C. to advocate for the reauthorization of ACT for ALS on Monday, Sept. 29

ACT for ALS was signed in 2021, and is set to expire in 2026

Dane said he was "going to fight to the last breath on this one" regarding his ALS diagnosis and the resources available for others living with the condition

Eric Dane is advocating for the reauthorization of ACT for ALS.

On Monday, Sept. 29, the actor, 52, traveled to Washington, D.C. with the nonprofit organization I AM ALS. Members of the organization - including staff members Andrea Goodman and Dustin Watson, board member Dan Tate and Legislative Affairs Team co-chair Jack Silva - joined Dane in a meeting with U.S. Rep. Frank Pallone of New Jersey, according to a post the organization shared on social media.

In a TikTok video shared by U.S. Rep. Eric Swalwell of California, Dane spoke about his ALS journey.

"ALS is the last thing they want to diagnose anybody with," Dane told the Democratic politician. "So often, it takes all this time for these people to be diagnosed, well, then it precludes them from being a part of these clinical trials."

He added, "That's why ACT for ALS is so so great, and it's because it broadens the access for everybody."

The actor, who shares daughters Billie Beatrice Dane, 15, and Georgia Geraldine, 13, with wife Rebecca Gayheart, went on to open up about his hopes for his family's future.

"I have two daughters at home. I want to see them, you know, graduate college, and get married and maybe have grandkids. You know, I want to be there for all that. So I'm going to fight to the last breath on this one," the actor said.

When Swalwell, 44, expressed his support for ALS advocacy, he asked Dane if there was anything else he could do. Dane humorously quipped, "Refill that espresso, maybe, I'm a little tired, man."

I AM ALS/Facebook

On Sept. 15, the Euphoria star took to Instagram to reveal a partnership with I AM ALS. In the video, he cosigned the group's new Push for Progress campaign, which aims to raise $1 billion for research over the next three years.

"I'm Eric, an actor, a father and now a person living with ALS," Dane said. The star remained seated during the brief clip, wearing a shirt that read "I AM ALS."

He continued, "For over a century, ALS has been incurable, and we're done accepting the status quo. We need the fastest path to a cure, and that's why I partnered with I Am ALS on the Push for Progress. Our goal: a billion dollars over the next three years."

"Together, we'll renew the landmark law Act for ALS, give promising treatments to thousands of patients like me, and finally, finally, push towards ending this disease," he continued, urging his followers to join the cause.

Act for ALS is a law that was signed in 2021 and is set to expire in 2026.

"This bill establishes grant programs to address neurodegenerative diseases, such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (also known as ALS or Lou Gehrig's disease)," a summary from Congress reads.

Dane exclusively revealed his ALS diagnosis to PEOPLE in April 2025.

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — South Korea's president vowed Wednesday to sharply increase defense spending to introduce a variety of high-tech weapons as part of efforts to build a more self-reliant military, as U.S. President Donald Trump's America-first agenda raises questions about the U.S. security commitment to its Asian ally.

A tariff war instigated by Trump's administration and his transactional approach to security threaten to erode many South Koreans' trust in the U.S. There are concerns that he may demand much higher South Korean payments for the U.S. military presence in the country or possibly downsize America's military footprint to focus more on China.

In an Armed Forces Day ceremony Wednesday, South Korean President Lee Jae Myung described the South Korea-U.S. military alliance as "solid" and didn't mention any concerns about Trump's policies. But he repeatedly stressed an intention to build a more independent military that can independently defend the country from external threats.

"We should move toward a strong, self-reliant defense, based on our pride and confidence in our military power," Lee said. "To ensure peace and prosperity for the Republic of Korea, we must not depend on anyone else but strengthen our own power."

To boost a self-reliant defense posture, Lee said his government would increase next year's defense spending by 8.2% to introduce advanced weapons systems like AI combat robots, autonomous drones and precision attack and defense missile systems.

The government will also actively foster defense industry and improve soldiers' welfare by upgrading their service conditions and compensation systems, he said.

Lee, a liberal who espouses greater peace on the Korean Peninsula, didn't mention rival North Korea, a likely effort not to provoke the country. But bolstering South Korea's military readiness would clearly be aimed at more effectively deterring potential aggressions from North Korea, which has nuclear weapons.

The North recently has repeatedly rejected Lee's overtures, though it signaled interests in restoring diplomacy with Trump.

A weakening of the U.S. security commitment could seriously shake South Korea's security as it has no nuclear weapons and is under the protection of a U.S. "nuclear umbrella," which has long promised a devastating American response in the event of an attack on its ally. The U.S. also deploys about 28,500 U.S. troops in South Korea.

A potentially sensitive issue for the alliance is an implementation of a previous agreement to transfer wartime operational control of the allied forces to a binational command led by a South Korean general with a U.S. deputy. The commander of the U.S. forces in South Korea currently has wartime operational control of South Korea's military.

Many South Koreans view reclaiming their own military's wartime operational control as a matter of national sovereignty but others worry that would result in loosening of the alliance. Some observers say the Trump administration would use the transfer as a way to reduce spending and concentrate on China but it would still want to maintain influence on the Korean Peninsula.

Elbridge Colby, who was confirmed as Trump's under secretary of defense for policy, said at his Senate confirmation hearings in March that he would carefully review the "delicate issue" of transferring wartime operational control.

"I support efforts to bolster South Korea's role in the alliance," he said.

Colby provided more detailed comments in a 2024 interview with Yonhap news agency.

"South Korea is going to have to take primary, essentially overwhelming responsibility for its own self-defense against North Korea because we don't have a military that can fight North Korea and then be ready to fight China," he said.

Lee reaffirmed his support of the transfer Wednesday.

"The Republic of Korea will lead a joint defense posture with Washington by regaining the operational control based on firm ROK-U.S. alliance," Lee said. "Solid combined defense capability and posture will not only bring peace and stability to the Korean Peninsula but also contribute to the region's stability and shared prosperity."
