Paul Anka has lived — and loved — his way.
In the 1950s, the Canadian crooner captured hearts with songs like "Put Your Head on My Shoulder" and "Puppy Love." And some of his romantic hits may have been inspired by his real-life wives.
The "My Way" songwriter had five daughters during his 37-year marriage to model Anne de Zogheb, and in 2005, he welcomed a son with former Miss Sweden Anna Åberg. Following their divorce in 2010, Anka married Lisa Pemberton in 2016. They split in 2020.
Though he told Express in August 2021 that he had found love again, the "Diana" singer didn't seem too keen on the idea of getting married again.
"No! No, no, no, no, no. You can add two more if you want," Anka said, before adding: "Subject to change."
So, who are Paul Anka's wives? Here's everything to know about the singer-songwriter's three marriages.

Anka had already made a name for himself as a singer by the time he met his first wife. He and the former model crossed paths while he was on a trip to Puerto Rico in 1962, and a year later, they wed in Paris.
Throughout their decades-long marriage, de Zogheb and Anka welcomed five daughters: Alexandra, Amanda, Alicia, Anthea and Amelia. The former couple lived in New York and Las Vegas before settling in Carmel, Calif., in the 1970s. During this pivotal time, Anka wrote the chart-topping track, "(You're) Having My Baby."
"I loved every minute with them," he wrote in his 2013 autobiography My Way. "And yet for me there was always that wrenching dichotomy between my life on the road and my life with my family. The way I would float in and out of my girls' lives, trying to attend their school recitals, falling asleep in the middle of a performance and Anne nudging me."
In speaking to Express about their divorce, Anka called de Zogheb the "love of [his] life" and cited his busy career as the reason their marriage crumbled: "I did my best, but I was travelling 200 days a year ... It was all me."
On March 29, 2017, de Zogheb died in Hollywood, Calif. She was 74 years old.

Anka told Express that his romance with his personal trainer was meant to be a casual encounter — until Åberg "informed" him a few months later that he "was having a child." Their son, Ethan, was born in September 2005, and the couple tied the knot three years later.
"I rose to the occasion and married her, but we divorced after 18 months," Anka explained in the 2021 interview. "In the custody battle that followed I won full custody of our son, Ethan, who's now almost 16."
Prior to becoming his personal trainer, Åberg was a model and actress who was crowned Miss Hawaiian Tropic of Sweden in 1993. According to her website, she appeared in movies like Dumb and Dumber and shows like Baywatch, but gained widespread recognition as a cast member in the Swedish reality show Swedish Hollywood Wives.
Åberg has since remarried and runs a wellness company in Los Angeles.

Anka started dating Pemberton in 2010 after meeting at a mutual friend's wedding. They dated for six years before tying the knot in an intimate L.A. ceremony at the Four Seasons. "It was a small, cozy and meaningful event," Anka told PEOPLE at the time.
Ethan, who was 11 years old at the time, walked Pemberton down the aisle.
"He's a cool little guy ... I wanted to make him be a part of it," Anka said. The legendary singer-songwriter added that his bride was "a great lady" and "a big animal lover" like him.
In his 2013 memoir, the singer wrote that Pemberton was "a very giving and good person" who got along well with his son. "It's not about me anymore," Anka penned. "When I see Ethan and how much he adores my girlfriend, Lisa Pemberton, it makes it all worth while."
He later admitted to Express, however, that his four-year-long marriage to Pemberton was rocky. During one particularly low moment, Anka claimed he pulled out his birth certificate and said, "'See this? How much longer do I have? I can't live like this anymore!' "
The former couple split in 2020.
