More than 5,000 volunteers will propel the spectacle, which kicks off at 8:30 a.m. in all time zones.

As expected, this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will feature a wide range of veteran acts and rising talent. It all begins with a performance from three-time Oscar nominee Cynthia Erivo, who can currently be seen as Elphaba in *Wicked: For Good*.

Other artists set to perform include R&B artist and *One Battle After Another* star Teyana Taylor, funk legends Kool & the Gang, "Cold as Ice" rockers Foreigner, and Grammy winner Lainey Wilson.

Also queued up? Gavin DeGraw, Busta Rhymes, Lil Jon, Jewel, Taylor Momsen, Ciara, Luísa Sonza, Christopher Jackson, Debbie Gibson, Mr. Fantasy, Colbie Caillat, Russell Dickerson, Matteo Bocelli, Shaggy, Mickey Guyton, Calum Scott, Lauren Spencer Smith, Meg Donnelly, Darlene Love, and Drew Baldridge.

EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami — the singers behind the *KPop Demon Hunters*' fictional girl group HUNTR/X — will also perform one of the animated hit's earworms.

Ballet dancers Tiler Peck and Roman Mejia will also entertain along the route, as will a variety of school and professional marching bands, including the Macy's Great American and New York City Police Department outfits.

And we can't forget about the legendary Radio City Rockettes, who are celebrating their 100th anniversary.

No Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is complete without a few Broadway performances. Every year, casts from some of the biggest musicals perform a showstopper in front of Macy's flagship store at Herald Square.

This year's broadcast will highlight performers from the musicals *Buena Vista Social Club*, *Just in Time*, *Ragtime, and A Chorus Line: The Next Generation.***

** raved about *Just in Time*, a jukebox bio-musical about '60s sensation Bobby Darin, "But much like the very performer whose story it tells, the show goes on to defy all expectations in favor of an utterly electrifying experience," reads our review. "And that success is due in no small part to Jonathan Groff, the magnetic star who takes on the persona of [Darin]."

It continues, "The energy of *Just in Time* is its greatest tribute to Darin: a recreation of his natural habitat buoyed by the dazzling charm of its stars. Everything from the stunning lighting design (courtesy of Justin Townsend) to Groff's crooning vocals emulates a '50s night club. And therein lies the real surprise of the show — beyond honoring Darin in particular, it serves as a love letter to live music."

EW also praised *Ragtime*, singling out star Joshua Henry. "When Henry is center stage, singing his heart out, blowing our hair back, everything melts away: it's just Coalhouse, his pain and Henry's jaw-dropping baritone."
