*The Walking Dead* family is mourning the death of script supervisor Amy Blanc Lacy, who was killed in a hit-and-run crash.**

A spokesperson for the Atlanta Police Department confirmed to ** that Buck Rollins, 31, is alleged to have been driving a Hyundai Elantra westbound on Northside Parkway NW in Atlanta just after 5 p.m. on Sept. 1 when he lost control of the car and collided with a Toyota Prius as it was passing through the intersection on Mount Paran Road NW.

Lacy, 62, was sitting in the backseat of the Prius driven by her 23-year-old son Oliver. Her 25-year-old son Adrian Lacy was also a passenger. Their Prius was struck on the driver's side, critically injuring Lacy, as well as her sons. All three were transported to a local hospital, where the mother of three succumbed to her injuries after being taken off of life support on Sept. 5.

According to an arrest affidavit obtained by PEOPLE, Rollins was allegedly going 90 miles per hour in a 45 mph zone when he drove over the curb, which caused the car to launch into the air and hit the Prius.

After Rollins' car struck the driver's side of the Prius, he continued driving on Mount Paran Road and stopped near the Interstate 75 bridge. There, he was seen on video taking his golf clubs out of the car and "walking away casually from the scene of the accident," per the affidavit.

Authorities say they spoke with Rollins two days after the accident, and he allegedly told them he had suffered a seizure and walked home. He also said he didn't know why he left the scene and had been golfing before the accident.**

Rollins surrendered to the Atlanta Police Department, and was arrested and charged with first-degree homicide by vehicle, hit and run, reckless driving and speeding. Online jail records show that Rollins was released from jail on $70,000 bond on Sept. 10.

As the investigation goes on, Lacy's loved ones are paying tribute to her legacy.

The longtime script supervisor was laid to rest with an eco-friendly burial on Sept. 10, and her niece, Erin Haley, shared in a Facebook post on Sept. 4 she was also an organ donor.

"The indomitable spirit that is Amy Blanc Lacy will live on in all who know her, met her, or were otherwise a recipient of the incredible and unconditional love she gave to all living creatures - human and animals, birds and trees, fish, and bugs. Except maybe ticks," Erin wrote. "Amy Blanc Lacy. Always Be Loving. Always Be Laughing."

Lacy served as a script supervisor for over 30 years. She worked on television series including *SeaQuest 2032, Halt and Catch Fire, The Walking Dead, *and* Loki*. Her credits also include working on scripts for films such as *The Neon Bible*, *Rosewood,* and *The Great Lillian Hall*.

On Instagram, *Walking Dead* star Khary Payton (King Ezekiel) posted a photo of himself hugging Lacy and wrote, "Amy. You've always been an angel. I'll be looking for you in all the little beautiful things. Love and miss you." Costars Emily Kinney and Briana Venskus left their condolences in the comments, as did *Sons of Anarchy* star David LaBrava.

Erin Lee Carr, a producer who worked with Lacy on the upcoming Hulu show *Murdaugh: Death in the Family*, wrote a lengthy tribute to her late coworker on Instagram, alongside a gallery of photos showcasing their time on set.**

"I, along with hundreds of my colleagues, spent countless hours with her this past year. While she was ostensibly our script supervisor, she was so much more," Carr's tribute began. "Amy was the bright light available to all of us each day. She always had a hug, a giggle, a new fact to share. She treated everyone with absolute kindness."

*Murdaugh* star Brittany Snow wrote in the comments, "Many times did I say to myself I wanna be more like Amy. Incredible soul. 💔💔." Co-star Patch Darragh added, "Oh no. She was indeed very special," and costar Ryan Paynter wrote, "This is awful. Wow. She was such a light on set. May she rest in peace.😔🤍."

A GoFundMe has been set up to support Lacy's children. Tasha Wdowin, a set medic, is listed as the organizer with Lacy's three kids as beneficiaries.

It reads, "Amy Lacy was a radiant and beautiful presence in the Film Community, touching the lives to [sic] of so many. Amy raised three wonderful children, filling their lives with joy, laughter and dance. In a tragic accident, we will lose her, leaving her family to navigate this tremendous loss. Let's come together to support her children during this difficult time."**
