Bad Bunny will headline the 2026 Super Bowl LX halftime show.
The "Dákiti" artist revealed the news on Instagram with the caption: "Super Bowl LX. Bay Area. February 2026. #AppleMusicHalftime."
"What I'm feeling goes beyond myself. It's for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown… this is for my people, my culture, and our history. Ve y dile a tu abuela, que seremos el halftime show del Super Bowl," Bad Bunny, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, said in a statement.
The three-time Grammy-winning artist is in great company, with prior Super Bowl headliners including Grammy winners like Beyoncé, The Weeknd, Shakira, Rihanna, Madonna, Usher, and Kendrick Lamar. After Usher headlined the 2024 halftime show, the performance earned him three Emmy nominations and became the most-watched halftime performance of all time.
A year later, Lamar took the internet by storm with his viral and politically-charged halftime show, a rousing success that earned him further acclaim and secured him victory in his ongoing feud with fellow rapper, Drake. Lamar's performance received four Primetime Emmy nominations.

Bad Bunny's upcoming performance marks the seventh year that Jay-Z's Roc Nation will program the show. In 2019 the NFL entered into a partnership with the rapper and his Roc Nation group to "enhance the NFL's live game experiences and to amplify the league's social justice efforts." Evidently, the partnership is working out, as the multi-year contract was extended in 2024.
