Amanda Seyfried and Lily James, who both starred in the 2018 *Here We Go Again* sequel, ran into each other while out promoting their respective Toronto Film Festival titles, *The Testament of Ann Lee* and *Swiped*.

Seyfried, who portrayed Sophie in both movie musicals, hugged it out with James, who played the younger version of Sophie's mother, Donna (Meryl Streep's role). "You're even better than a puppy!" James exclaimed, referring to the EW/PEOPLE photoshoot with rescue puppies from the Canadian non-profit Project Paws Dog Rescue.

Speaking about the run-in after the fact, James tells EW, "It's just so wonderful, especially someone like Amanda. She is just such a beautiful human and with such generosity, and she's so funny, and I just admire her so much, and we had such a special time making that film. You know, very proud of my daughter."

Cast and crew have been talking about the potential for a third *Mamma Mia!* movie for years at this point, but nothing official has been cemented.

"We'll all be on some fabulous Greek or Croatian island having a blast," Christine Baranski, who played Tanya, speculated last year. She also confirmed franchise producer Judy Craymer "is planning *Mamma Mia 3"* and that she gave her "the narrative plotline of how it's going to happen."

Earlier this year, Craymer told Deadline the team is eyeing Sabrina Carpenter of "Espresso" and "Please Please Please" fame for the threequel to play either "a goddess or some relation who would look very much like Meryl Streep."

"We know what we want to do with the movie, and it will happen," the producer said. So fingers crossed!
