JoJo Siwa shares health update on TikTok; Siwa on a stretcher -

JoJo Siwa explained in a TikTok video why she was sent to the hospital on Friday, Nov. 28, after she posted a photo of herself on a stretcher

The Dance Moms alum said that "one of my ovaries had a cyst on it that burst and was bleeding into my stomach" and that she would need to get it checked again in one week

She was given pain medication and continued with her scheduled Mall of America performance a few hours later

Jojo Siwa is back like a "boomerang" after experiencing a health emergency.

The "Karma" singer, 22, shared a health update on TikTok after posting a photo of herself in a stretcher hours before a Mall of America performance on Friday, Nov. 28. She revealed that she was "in the hospital" prior to the performance after experiencing severe stomach pains.

"So long story short, every time that I've been dancing for the last couple of days or even just like walking like anything, my stomach would just really, really hurt," Siwa said in the clip.

"And I don't know why, but it just kind of passed, and so I was like, 'Oh, maybe it's that time of the month, maybe it's a cramp, I don't know,' " she added.

However, she noted that the pain got "really bad" on Friday morning, and she had thought that sleeping it off might help, but it didn't.

"I laid down, I closed my eyes, and I was like, 'I can't breathe,' " she recalled, adding that she got "in the bathtub to see if that would "calm" down her muscles.

"That set it off 100 times worse," Siwa continued. "I was in [the bathtub] for maybe four minutes, and all of a sudden I was like, I have to get out immediately 'cause I knew I was gonna black out and I felt like I was gonna throw up."

The Dance Moms alum said she called her mom, who asked her if she should call 911 and take her to the hospital, to which the reality star agreed. When the EMTs arrived, she said, "they didn't really know what was wrong" as her vitals looked "normal."

She eventually got to the hospital and was given pain meds and an ultrasound, which revealed that "one of my ovaries had a cyst on it that burst and was bleeding into my stomach."

"So that's what was causing the excruciating pain — anytime that the blood in your stomach moves, that's the bleeding in the stomach," Siwa explained. "It's like brutal pain, and long story short, [it] should revolve itself. It should stop on its own."

She said she went back to complete her scheduled appearance and performance at the Mall of America, thanks in part to the pain medication. However, she noted that wasn't the end of it, as she has to get checked out again in one week. In the meantime, she planned to continue working as usual.

"Today, we're gonna go to work and we're gonna dance again. I'm afraid how this dance is gonna affect me 'cause I'm gonna be dancing, but it's only gonna be an hour. We're going to do it," she said.

"We're going to keep it pushing, and if I vomit or if I have that excruciating pain burst again, I got to go immediately back in, but we should be okay," she continued.

Siwa noted that she was "out of the hospital within two hours" thanks to the medical staff, and went on to thank everyone for their "well wishes." She said she was "doing all right," but wasn't back to "100%" yet.
