Motherwell manager Stuart Kettlewell has described Arsenal's choice to recall Mika Biereth from his loan spell as a 'major disappointment'.
The 20-year-old ahead joined the Scottish membership in August and has impressed during his time within the SPL with six objectives in 14 appearances.
It's understood that Sheffield Wednesday are keen on a mortgage deal for Biereth and Arsenal have brought the striker again to the membership forward of a possible transfer to the Championship.
'Mika has been recalled. It's been a troublesome one for us during the last 24 hours. Arsenal have referred to as him back. It's a serious, major disappointment to us in fact,' Kettlewell stated.
'They really feel that he's been in a terrific position. They've beloved the working surroundings here. Again, I'm going again to the private relationship with myself and the player and the employees to the player. It's been terrific, it's been actually, really good.
'This was a bit of bit sudden, the conversation was that Mika would keep here until the top of the season as just lately as last week; that he would 100% be staying at Motherwell until something actually massive came on the table for Arsenal and something that they thought was a chance that they will't turn down.
'There's a state of affairs there that's utterly out of our palms that they consider that there's a chance to send him to another membership that takes him that step beyond where we are simply now. My palms are tied on that, it's a serious disappointment on that one for me.
'There's been an enormous thank you from Arsenal for a way we've handled the player and how we've treated him and the strides that he's made during the last six months or so, five months or so.

'We love working with him, we love having him in our group. He's a superb participant, everyone has seen that. However as I say, I can only say that it's a state of affairs which is completely out of our management.
'There's a recall on all of these loans and we felt that until one thing major got here in that Mika was going to be here. However it appears that evidently a chance has come about. That's not for me to tell anyone what that's or what that looks like.
'All I can inform you is that the participant has been recalled and is back down at Arsenal.'
