FOX Sports analyst Tom Brady turned heads with his colorful commentary while heaping praise on Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams.

With just under five minutes left in the first quarter of the Bears' 31-23 victory over the Falcons - a game marred by a frightening injury to linebacker Kendal Daniels - Williams connected with wide receiver Luther Burden III, who slipped past cornerback Mike Hughes before tiptoeing down the sideline for a 25-yard gain.

Brady was quick to shower Burden with praise, saying: "He's such a twitchy receiver. He's selling the go route, and then he just hits the brakes. And then [Mike] Hughes kind of has his eyes in the backfield. But you're twitchy like that." It comes as Jim Nantz suffers 'injury' at hands of Tony Romo replacement live on CBS.

Shifting his focus to Williams' powerful throw, Brady continued: "You stop quickly, and then with that accurate throw, that ball is gyrating coming out of Caleb's hands."

As play-by-play commentator Kevin Burkhardt stifled a laugh, Brady continued to lavish Williams with compliments. "I mean, there is some smoke on the football when he cuts it loose," he remarked.

Burkhardt admitted that Brady's use of "gyrating" caught him off guard, noting: "I've never heard that term used to describe a pass before."

Taking to social media, scores of viewers likewise mocked Brady's unconventional football terminology. "Tom Brady is funny, that ball is 'Gyrating.' Ain't ever heard somebody describe a football like that lol," one X user wrote, while another chimed in: "Did NOT like the way Tom Brady said gyrating in my ear."

A third viewer commented, "Tom Brady just said the football was 'gyrating' .... Tom it's kids watching bro lmao."

Other viewers suggested Brady was displaying favoritism toward the Bears by constantly praising Chicago. "Tom Brady sounding like a bears fan right now," one viewer remarked. Another observed, "Tom Brady really loves our Bears hahahahaha."

Later in the game, though, Brady didn't hold back when critiquing a string of errors by Bears tight end Colston Loveland.

Following Loveland's holding penalty against Falcons' Avieon Terrell, Brady encouraged the Michigan product to exercise better judgment when blocking defensive backs.

"They're much quicker than you, so you can't sustain those blocks for very long," Brady explained. "And you're always hoping you hold their jersey, but as soon as they start to escape away you just have to have the discipline to let go. Come on, you're a Michigan Man. You should know that, Colston Loveland!"

Later, during the final two minutes of the second quarter, Loveland couldn't catch a touchdown pass that was slightly thrown behind him. Still, Brady maintained the 22-year-old was responsible for the incomplete pass, contending he should've "hunkered down" at the pylon instead of running toward the sideline.
