The Hips Don't Lie songstress, 48, announced that she was breaking up with the former Barcelona star, 38, in June 2022 amid rumours of him cheating after 11 years and two children together. The estranged couple shares her sons Milan, 12, and Sasha, 10, with the ex professional soccer player. In an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music, Shakira admitted music has been the main thing that has helped her overcome their separation.
